Tracker Lexington – Review

Hey, Bobby is back!

And so is Justin Hartley’s real-life wife.

Okay, so I love Reenie. I do. But the chemistry! I’d love to see more of Billie in the future. It was such a fun dynamic.

So… who is endgame? Reenie? Billie?

I still think Reenie. Just my opinion. Only time will tell, because I have a feeling this show is sticking around. What do you guys think?

Alright, let’s get into the episode!

Colter is on the search for a horse named Argo! Do we have a Xena fan in the writer’s room? Do we?

I mean, we already have one gay couple, so it could be.

Anyway, Colter is looking for the horse. My money had been on the rich dude being the one to steal and dope the horse. Whoops. Guess I was wrong.

I like to be wrong, especially when I can go back, and see the threads pull together.

One thing about this show I’m not crazy about is how easily people change.

Like last episode, they believed Colter way too easily before the witness went with him. In this episode, this guy was all, my ex stole the horse. She’s terrible. We meet the ex and she’s all, he’s a little nuts, and upset over the break-up.

To then at the end, they’re fine with each other.

Everything is all good now. We’ll be friends.

Like what?

How quickly did that turn around happen when they had little to no interaction. Like they love the horse so much and since neither of them stole the horse, we’re all good.

It’s just too quick. People aren’t like that. Or at least, it’s not believable.

But hey, we’re not here for the complete believability. It is TV after all.

Back to the episode, this plot was good. I enjoyed searching for something other than people.

Colter and Billie work well together.

I like his hesitation, but his plan to keep her close was good too.

Except, I spent a good chunk of the episode trying to figure out her game. This was mentioned to be a private hire.

She showed up knowing he was there.

Five years have passed.

I feel like Billie showed up just to make amends. She screwed with him for a bit, but really didn’t make a move without him. Then she offered to team-up together. I think she wanted to make nice.

After messing up their relationship or friendship before, she wanted to set things right. She finally mustered up the courage and went to see him.

She makes it right only to chicken out in the end. She’s afraid.

Of what? I’m not sure. I don’t know enough about her character.

But what I do know, is she’s afraid of truly falling for Colter. Maybe she thinks it won’t work out. There’s no future. Or maybe she thinks Colter won’t want to settle down or just be with one person all the time. Maybe she’s afraid he really likes being alone.

I don’t know. Something held her back. Wonder what it was exactly.

Though, I do love that it wasn’t him.

Colter is an easy going guy. He doesn’t really brood. He jokes, he laughs, and he demonstrates here that he can forgive and move on.

Learning to grow means understanding forgiveness. Sometimes, it’s not about the other person, but yourself. Sometimes, it is about the other person. Letting go of anger and past issues is important to helping people move forward.

Here, Colter moves forward.

Billie proved herself. It’s all good now between them.

We need more people like this.

All in all, this was a good episode! I hope we see more of Billie, but mostly I hope she meets Reenie. Can you imagine? Colter wouldn’t stand a chance!

The horse was found. No money was made, but fences and bridges were mended. And Colter is right, that’s enough!
