I’m not even surprised Kendra’s husband was trying to kill her.
Was anyone?
Also, why???
Another investigation.
If I want investigations, I’ll watch cop procedurals.
I want to watch firefighters being firefighters!
Although… I did like getting to watch Paul do his ‘thing.’ It’s so much fun!
I think these two things can coexist.
Paul is so smart and sees things for what they are. I loved how even after he had managed to ‘solve’ it, it was still bothering him because there was one piece missing. One thing that didn’t make sense.
I feel like he and Columbo would get along so well!
Paul taking one quick look around the shed and knowing what happened was awesome.
And thank goodness some else pointed out that it was weird that a man with that much money was rotating his wife’s tires. Like why?
I mean, I could understand it could be a lovely gesture. If it was something you shared as a couple.
But it did strike me as odd.
Though the show tried to write it off as a caring husband. Which fit until we saw him and Kendra alone together.
Because in those moments, it seemed like they hated each other.
And apparently, they were no longer fond of each other.
I think that Kendra didn’t understand what her motive for killing her husband was. She mentioned she could divorce him, and he’ll make out like a bandit with their prenup. When she said it, I was like – there goes her motive.
Not to mention murdering her husband wouldn’t endear her further to Owen.
She also clearly didn’t want anything romantic out of him due to what happened.
She just wanted someone on her side.
It sucks that her first husband died. It was written all over her face that she loved him dearly and a tragedy occurred made worse by people calling her a killer. Only for it to happen again.
I do love that karma got her 2nd husband.
His attempts to kill his wife backfired horribly back on him.
Loved that!
Wanted to smack Owen!
Carlos’ dad pulled him aside to give him a heads up because they’re family.
But Owen couldn’t be bothered to do the same.
When he was no longer convinced that Kendra was the killer, he should have brought her to the Texas Ranger. He would have listened because they’re family. He had just proved he was on Owen’s side. That he cared.
Then he went and messed it up.
I was so on Gabriel’s side when he called Owen out in the office.
Owen, you got in the way. You deliberately obstructed the police to conduct your investigation. That’s bad.
When you could have called Gabriel and explained why you don’t think she’s guilty and brought Paul alone to help prove it. Instead you went behind his back!
He had every right to be pissed!
And I don’t think he should have forgiven Owen so easily.
I suppose it can be hard.
Owen did just risk his own life to save Kendra. Which is one of the things that annoys me about Owen and makes me love him too.
His heart is in the right place.
He never acts out maliciously.
He didn’t want to get Kendra in more trouble or put Gabriel in an awkward position.
He’s not a bad guy, just a dope who never learns.
Ugh!
Overall, the episode was very good.
Please, give me more Paul centric episodes in the future! He’s so much fun to watch and see how his mind works!
Not to mention, his brain saved the day!
He figured out that Kendra’s husband was trying to kill her, saving her life in the end.
As for Tommy’s storyline, I was a bit confused.
Did the pastor really not know what he was signing up for? No matter who he dated, there would be gossip at church.
I’ve never even gone to church, but I this happens.
It happens everywhere. And I’ve yet to see… a more judgmental group.
Anyone ever seen 7th Heaven?
I watched that when I was a kid. I don’t know if it’s accurate. But it’s accurate for TV drama. Of course, there’s going to be rumors and people making gossip. Like? Why are we shocked?
I’m glad Tommy stood up for herself.
When she marched in, in her red dress. I was stunned. She’s about to give the old bitties a heart attack!
I’m glad they worked it out. He seems good for her.
And I love how happy Tommy is.
And how playful she is. Her messing with Grace was hilarious.
Every once and a while I’m reminded these characters do take church and it’s teachings quite seriously. Especially Grace. It was so odd to see her flustered over sex outside of marriage when so many calls haven’t even caused her to bat an eye.
The actress played the innocence well.
But I will admit I don’t care for this aspect of the story. I’m not religious and I tend to find these storylines tedious.
Who cares if they have sex?
They both already have.
They have children!
Ugh. Sorry. But even as religious people, it’s not your business what the pastor does and doesn’t do with his girlfriend in a consenting, adult, and loving relationship. You have to trust your pastor to practice what he preaches.
Because if you don’t, why bother with church?
You’re judging and making assumptions which I’m fairly certain you’re not supposed to.
It bugs me. Okay? I’m sorry.
