Hot. Hot. Hot.
Is anyone even alive to read this after watching this episode?
I think I died somewhere there and went to Rainbow heaven or something.
Whew.
I’m sorry. What happened in this episode?
There were other things than the sex scene, right?
Does anyone care though?
Damn.
Ponto went all out with this scene, which is way more than I was expecting for a web series on YouTube to put together. But damn, did I love this scene.
Everything about it was perfect.
Even knowing afterward that Valentina had planned to seduce her wife, she still gave Luiza the chance to stop!
She warned her not to continue, letting Luiza take charge of what would happen next.
Even is Valentina as she put it, was so ‘horny.’
I cannot express enough how hilarious and wonderful it is that these characters discuss sex like it’s the weather. The next morning both Luiza and Valentina are sharing with everyone that they finally gave into their chemistry.
Admitting they were both horny for each other.
I love it. I love it so much.
I loved the entire scene as well.
The care and thought put into each moment was amazing.
I liked that it started off hot and sexy and moved into sensual as they tone shifted, the music shifted, the camera angles, and lighting shifted. It was well done to put you in that intimate moment with them.
Because it felt intimate.
I have to commend the actresses as well!
Buiar managed to capture the idea that Valentina knows what her wife likes. Like the moment she grabs her jaw and turns her head to kiss along her ear. It spoke to a familiarity.
Whereas Reis carefully played it so there appeared to be no prior knowledge.
That little detail makes the moment play even more so.
Especially with Buiar coming across as so damn happy her wife has fallen for her again that she’s coming to the love scene with such intesity because she never thought she’d be here again.
While Reis plays it more of enjoying a first time. Some nerves. But mostly, she’s enjoying herself and the moment.
Also, I want to thank the production for the messed-up hair and make-up.
They did not look perfect from start to finish and that detail was also amazing.
Their hair was ruffled.
Make-up smudged.
Such perfect details normally missing.
I could probably discuss this in length. It was clearly handled with care by women for women.
Marking it as one of my favorite love scenes ever and one of the hottest!
Kudos to the cast and crew for nailing it.
Now, as for the rest of the episode.
I wish there was something more to her dream. Luiza didn’t really say how she felt about waking up to find her life now was nothing more than a dream. I really wanted more detail about that.
I also wanted a scene with Valentina waking her up and Luiza being relieved. But you know, hey, can’t have it all.
The little moment in the kitchen was freaking adorable! Thomas who plays Léo is so cute!
The moment with his cut knee and how things affect Luiza differently now was amazing.
We learn that Luiza’s parents are lying about the divorce and we still don’t know what the major trauma was beyond involving blood. At least until the end.
I took the end to mean Luiza got into a car accident while pregnant and lost the baby the first time through. It had been my guess that a miscarriage was the cause. So I just interrupted the end as how the baby was lost.
I still would like to know what happened to Luiza on the first day, to make her have a panic attack.
Was it about the baby? Her wife? Why did it happen at the treehouse?
The second one I get .
The treehouse triggered it.
And she was already having suspicions, last episode, and this one after Marcos mentioned ‘what happened.’
She was ready to remember and deal with it again.
I think Valentina is the one who’s not ready to confront what happened.
She appeared to be viewing the treehouse this time with rose colored glasses.
Alas, the one other, major event I want to talk about.
Valentina’s mother.
I hate this woman.
What does Léo want to be?
I’m not going to make the mistake I made with Valentina.
Uh, excuse you. He’s not your kid. Whatever he decides to do with his life or where he attends school is not up to you. It’s up to his mothers.
How much do you make in a month?
Who asks that?!
Enough to not need her help. Good for you Valentina!
Your father helps you.
What?
At the beginning! Listen bitch, that hardly counts anymore. The beginning was somewhere ten years ago. She pays her own bills, takes care of her son, and wife.
Have you seen her house?
Damn.
I was recently watching a review on YouTube by I think it was Unsolicited Truth about Stupid Wife and she suggested Catarina was jealous of her daughter!
I thought, damn, that’s a good theory! If you haven’t watched her reactions check her out! Here’s the link!
Which is why I mention, because it was a damn good thought.
But it’s not where my brain went. Though, I think I agree with Nikki on Unsolicited Truth a bit too.
My brain went with Catarina having carefully laid out plans for her daughter. Her whole life. All she had to do was follow the road map.
But Valentina didn’t.
She stepped off.
And Catarina was so smug that Valentina would fail. She would come crawling back to her mother, to her path, and beg for her help.
But she hasn’t.
Instead, she succeeded without her mother.
And Catarina hates it.
Hates it because she doesn’t get to credit. Doesn’t get to rub in an ‘I told you so.’
She’s one of those types that thinks her daughter should bow to her whim. Thank goodness for her being born and do as she says so Catarina can take credit for whatever her children accomplish.
Except she can’t.
Because Valentina went and was successful without her.
So now she drags her down anyway she can.
In a way, I agree with the other theory. It’s a form of jealousy. It fits nicely there too. I love it.
But I so need this woman to get what’s coming to her. I hate her.
On the other hand, I want to thank her for the moment Luiza was having while Catarina was berating her daughter. She clearly wanted to jump in.
To defend her wife.
Her child.
She hated every moment.
She even tried to hold her hand. To comfort her.
Then I did enjoy the moment when Luiza declared so coldly to Catarina that she would speak to her wife. And went to comfort her.
Loved it.
The ending not so much!
Welp, onto the Christmas Special! Join me, won’t you?
Spread the love and read on!
