Violet is the main character and we see the world through her eyes. While the whole world is convinced she’s too frail to make it through this war college and become a dragon rider, she’s determined to survive. She’s determined to prove them all wrong.
And my goodness, it’s so much fun to be with her through every step!

It’s got a vibe like Maximum Ride from James Patterson, but with way more humor and sarcastically hilarious moments.
