Tracker Camden – Review

I really enjoy this show.

No kidding around.

It’s one of those, that is clearly in the first season of it’s show, but has so much potential to do itself justice. It’s got a plot that can lost longer than one season. It doesn’t slam themes or overall arcs down your throat.

Plus Colter is a top-notch leading man.

I love his approach to things and how he handles people.

I love the way he spoke to the girl’s father, calling him out about his behavior towards the soon to be son-in-law.

I also loved that he didn’t feel the urge to argue or try to make her understand he may not be who she thought. Or maybe he got caught up in something.

Instead, he choose to keep an open mind.

Unlike literally everyone else!

And this is what I like about Colter. He’s open to the possibilities. When he doesn’t have all the facts, he keeps collecting evidence, and as much understanding as possible before making conclusions or connections.

He wants to find the truth.

Whether it’s good or bad.

He wants to find the person and the truth is important to that.

I loved that he advocated for Sully throughout the episode. Because everything they were pining against him was circumstantial at best. They had no hard knowledge until they did.

He kept an open mind.

Something I truly appreciate about Colter is his ability to do so while also keeping realistic expectations in mind. Because people can suck sometimes.

Sure, he was the good guy here. But the next time, he could be cheating or falling into bad habits.

It’s all a matter of situation.

I also loved how he talked the guy down. Because the past can creep up and haunt you. It’s true. You’ll never truly escape who you used to be. You have to live with those things for the rest of your life.

But it doesn’t have to be the present.

It’s always there.

But it’ll be worse, if you go to jail for murder, and lose the woman you love.

Don’t pull the trigger, do the right thing. Even when the past comes up.

Do the right thing and get the girl with the happy ending!

Which he did.

I love that Colter doesn’t always know what he’s going to say, but adapts as he listens to the people around him.

Overall, this was a solid episode and I enjoyed it.

But truthfully, the cases aren’t as interesting as Colter.

Someone who knocks out the bad guy and actually ties them up so he doesn’t have to worry about them. Someone who calls the police when he realizes that the situation is more than just getting to the guy before he does something he shouldn’t, because someone is hurt. That is more important.

I love that he wondered about the guy’s intentions. But her sure words rang true. She believed in him.

Every step.

And she was proven right.

Colter helped see to that.

And gave him the credit too, helping his life in the small town. As everyone started to open up to him.

Colter is a joy to watch. He’s not here to judge or bust egos or get in the way.

I loved his line, “Just because you get paid, doesn’t mean you don’t care.”

He has a way with himself and getting people to trust him. To see that his intentions are good. That he is a kind person. Yes, he wants to be paid. It’s how he makes his living, but that doesn’t mean his heart isn’t in it.

Doesn’t make him less of a good person.

I do enjoy this show and I’m looking forward to what they pull out next!
