Way more Maya and Carina then I thought there would be!

Discussing their future!

Another baby they brought into the world together! Please let the next one be theirs!

Argh!

I’m not sure what I liked best!

I know some people have had mixed feelings about how quickly everything was resolved in the last two episodes, but right now? I don’t care.

We’re entering the writer’s strike and not sure when season seven will arrive, we have happy Maya and Carina back. No matter how long it takes, I get to live with the idea that the two of them are living their best lives together at home, and in love with each other.

Most likely with their hands on each other.

As displayed by this episode where they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves.

That scene was amazing.

The care and thought each actress puts into their scenes is clear from the word go. Danielle and Stefania are a gift to this show and fandom.

The tongue. The kiss on the shoulder. Clearly, they have listened to what we say online. A lot.

Maya helping her out of that awful dress.

I do agree with everyone about Carina not having a dress. That woman has glamourous outfits just to go to work and change into scrubs. She doesn’t have a dress or a designer on speed dial?

I don’t buy that. Nope.

I also don’t buy that Carina wouldn’t have set that dress on fire the moment the wedding was over.

Oh, and who is this friend? A friend Carina would willingly wear that monstrosity for? And keep it? Who is this person? Can we meet them?

Please! I’m begging you! Allow Carina to have friends! Let us meet these people!

Also, I’m not sure how much analysis I have today. I think I have been babbling incoherently since the closer scene.

Although, I do have one thought.

While it was not addressed in the show, which annoys me. Maya’s bangs.

I know there’s some lines drawn over them and that they weren’t included in the plot. But I had a thought while I was watching their opening moments.

Maya has marked her turning points with a hair change.

Discovering her abuse, she cut her hair.

Accepting and dealing with her abuse, she gave herself bangs.

I think both choices may have been a spur of the moment decisions and not perfectly right for her. But who hasn’t gone through something life changing and marked the occasion with something outrageous?

A friend of mine, broke up with her five year boyfriend, cut her hair and dyed it to do something different. To mark a new chapter.

While I’m not a fan of them, I think it speaks to Maya’s growth forward.

A reminder to not get lost again. A mark of moving forward. A new chapter in her life.

It’s not perfect, it’s not exactly what she wants, but she’s still working that out. Both she and Carina are.

Except now, they’re doing it together.

Like for example, discussing how many kids they want. Other options to achieve their dreams. All while smiling and doing it together.

I can’t wait to see it.

Now, I’m conflicted about the baby born in the latest episode.

I want Carina to have what she wants. And she explicitly said she wants to carry a baby and be a mom. She’s said it, we’ve seen her want. I want her to have that.

On the other hand!

I’m all for adoption.

I would love to see the two of them adopt a child together. Even if it’s not the baby born in the episode, but some child who needs a home.

I love the idea of an adopted child and a birthed child. It’s something I have considered for myself at some point. Adoption is soooooo important.

But it doesn’t mean Carina shouldn’t have what she wants either.

So do both if Station 19 is deciding on having them adopt a child. Do both please.

Let Carina have her dream after all this suffering. I’m begging you. Without issue or complication. Please!

Let the complication come from Maya having to adopt the child after it’s born. From dealing with the government when adopting another child. Not from complications due to giving birth.

After everything this season, they deserve something to go smoothly. PLEASE.

All of their scenes were so cute together.

From the moments in their bedroom getting ready, to discussing future children, having sex, dancing, and delivering another baby together.

Sigh.

I want that. Someday.

At least, for Maya and Carina fans, things have ended on a cheery note.
