Hey there!

If you want to brighten up your Monday with a movie, uh, this might not be it.

Oops.

Dog is an excellent movie starring Channing Tatum, but it’s labeled as a comedy.

Is it?

The film has some humorous moments, but it touches on so many serious topics and issues, that it doesn’t come off as a comedy. Not to mention from the moment we hit the boots at the end of the film, I was bawling my eyes out.

I don’t expect a lot of comedies to make me cry for the final ten minutes of the film.

Definitely, not a comedy.

Still a wonderful movie though!

I loved the dog and the relationship to Channing Tatum’s character. It was well done. I definitely put it in the same category as Max.

But if we’re grading it as a comedy, well, uh.

Nope.

I’d say this movie falls in the middle!
