Spread The Love – Dancing

Hey there!

Do you need a pick me up?

A reminder that humanity isn’t always the root of all evil? That sometimes, there a genuinely wonderful moments out there that help us get through the suck of it all?

Too dark?

What? I was trying to build a scene. Make drama.

Eh, any who.

A while back I started this feature where I wanted to talk about the good things life has to offer us and today, I am reviving it!

So, here’s the scene:

The other day I was in the car with my Dad. He was driving, I was not. Sitting the passenger seat, we pulled up to two lane stop.

Now, when I’m not driving, I like to look around. Especially when we’re stopped.

Just take the world around me in.

Look for silly things I can point out and turn into a long joke or story. Something funny.

But on this particular day, I glanced to my right. In the right hand lane of the stop, I saw a (what I assume to be a mother and daughter.) The mom was driving, but at the stop she took her hands off the wheel, and started dancing like crazy to the music in her car.

I giggled.

It was so cute.

Then she started nudging her young, probably preteen daughter to dance along with her.

Her daughter tried to resist, holding back a smile.

But the mother was insistent and infectious.

I turned to my Dad to tell him because this is the kind of shit we do in the car together. We’re goofs.

He’d love this!

I tell him and turn back to see them both head banging away to the music. I laughed and so did my Dad.

They looked like they were having the time of their lives!

Soon, the light turned green and we were all on our way.

But I kept thinking about them.

They made me smile and laugh and brightened my day even if they didn’t know it. They were just enjoying life and their time together. It was so adorable.

It reminded of wanting to share good things with everyone.

There are too many bad things out there.

Time to remember to head bang to your favorite song in the car!

So, spread the love and keep on dancing!

Don’t forget to like, follow, comment! Tell me something that made you smile. A stranger’s kindness. Something you saw that made you smile! I want to hear it all!

Let’s brighten the world!
