And it doesn’t really happen…? Also, this made me think Amber was a fish. I thought that was going to be an interesting twist. Surprise, I’m actually a fish, babe.

However, instead Mark goes toe to toe with a giant fish thingy instead of marrying the widow. Apparently, a month after finding out that Omni-Man killed her husband is a good time to cash in this debt.

I also really dislike when people punish the children for the parents’ mistakes.

I mean, I didn’t make that choice. Nor did I choose this asshole to be my father, leave me out of his issues. Wait for him to return to Earth or something. Put out a galactic wanted poster. Just do not make it the kid’s issue.

I hate that.

Because it leads to dumb shit like this.

A bunch more people die. Mark is injured. Cecil realizes he was a 100% wrong about what the repayment was supposed to be.

Yeah, dude, maybe you should have double-checked with the queen before you just handed Mark over to them. Although, watching Mark try to worm his way out of the marriage was hilarious. ‘I have a girlfriend.’

Literally no one cares here Mark. Read the room.

Meanwhile, as Mark gets his ass kicked by some sound bending creature from the deep for the sins of his father, Eve is trying to rebuild the city that Omni-Man destroyed as part of her summer vacation.

As well as convince her parents who she dumped last season to accept her help.

Apparently, dear old dad lost his job and is too proud to take food from Eve when she literally makes it out of thin air. Then a literally golden apple.

You know, I was wondering how Eve would survive on her own. But she can literally just make anything she needs. Whether it’s food or money or clothes or a roof over her head. That is absolutely crazy to me.

How powerful can Eve become?

Oh, but her patch job doesn’t really hold well accidentally fucking things up worse than before. Which dear old dad just loved to throw in her face like a complete asshole. He would apparently like to do everything in his power to make his daughter feel two inches tall and not accept her help.

Because clearly even without understanding food completely, she manages to make something that can really get people drunk or something they can drink. I’m not sure how that works. Does she need to understand the nature of food as well? Are they basically eating air because she does not?

It’s a really cool thing to add. That she would need to know how to properly construct a building to make it work properly.

However, that also means that anything she understands the composition of, is something she can feasibly create. Which could potentially include items that are stronger than Viltrumites.

That could be really cool.

Other news, um, William managed to find someone to hook with ten seconds after to getting to college. Something I – personally – will never understand.

On the other, I am wildly impressed with his game and am super happy for him.

Especially since his last love interest was horribly mutilated by a nutcase. Good for him.

Amber and Mark hook up for the first time at college after Mark complains about his best friend having sex on the first day of school. Am I mixing episodes?

I was watching these close together.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure the entire thing should have been avoided with the fish people.

I’m also not sure how we’re going to come to an agreement after this. I mean are they going to blame Invincible for winning the fight or Cecil for interfering with the sentencing?

Does that mean the oceans are now going to be fighting us.

What on earth is the villain up to by going from universe to universe asking people questions? Like what does he want? What is he looking for?

And I mean, I get being made at those Invincibles. Because well, they’re evil. But the one in this universe is not. Perhaps, you take your anger out on them. I mean, why come after the one who is actually trying to do the right thing?

Freaking, villains are weird.

Not to mention, he’s probably a little crazy from having all those memories in his head and not knowing which really belong to him anymore. Again, probably should have listened to the Mauler Twins and stopped the procedure. Or maybe just not do it at all.

Graduation was weird. Did not care for that. Nor Amber’s attitude that Mark would be there because he promised.

Well, shit. If Doc dude over here continues to destroy the place as well as release his lava dudes everywhere – it might be beyond his control. Just a thought – you know.

However, I really like this dude, and I wish we had the team-up between Mark and Eve like we did the first time we fought him. This is actually a great lowkey villain to just always have in the background. Like he’s evil but he also makes some sense.

Not as much as last time when he was pissed about carving faces into a mountain, we had no right to touch. But hey, there’s probably a good reason to yell at most monuments. Love this guy.

I also loved that he felt the urge to take a moment and clarify his name to Mark because he has never taught. I loved that.

Lastly, I do not like that Eve has quit super-heroing. It was a lot of fun watching her and Mark work together. Also, it does sort of separate her from the main storyline which is irritating.

It kind of felt like she was in another world compared to Mark. Like yes, she is still trying to do good things for the world and I love that for her. But I’m really going to be sad if we never see her kicking butt again. Especially kicking butt with Mark since they make such a good team.

Oh, and the Guardians of the Globe are not thrilled with their new leader. Rex for more than one reason. And I need someone to explain to me how Kates’ duplicates work because… um… does that mean she feels their deaths too?

Like if she could feel the Immortal while she was out talking to Rex, does that mean every time one of them dies she can feel the pain of the death? That’s got to suck.

Oh, and I’m not a fan of the Immortal.

He seems like a dick.

Strangely, liking Rex though as he pointed out before the Immortal they were all on the same page and now, we have this guy drilling them into the floor. After getting the last asshole on board with them.

We’re also adding a new member we know nothing about. I’m sure that will go well. Yep.

Also, I do not care.
