We’re nearly at the end of the season – I believe – just one more episode to go and things are well…

Happening.

Giovanna is having a mental breakdown.

So is Nicole.

What’s her name – investigating has found something linked to another company about something or something and brought it to the corrupt police chief.

And is sleeping with Christopher. Apparently.

Maya is having nightmares.

Everyone is suspicious of Nicole at this point.

We got rid of Hector. Maya has promised to kill him, if he ever returns to Brazil. How nice.

Larissa is let in on some secret about a folder that Clarisse had just before she was killed that contained all the secrets of this mysterious plot, they just need to find it.

Well, I’m guessing that unless she hid it somewhere, that the people who killed her took it and with any brains whatsoever, destroyed it. For good. Because I’m not keeping damning evidence.

Although, this is a show. So who knows?

I’m just saying. Any intelligent person would throw evidence against themselves out. Set it on fire. Ship it to Pluto. It has got to go.

Christopher is a horrible person. Not that that is really news, I just like to confirm it every now and again.

The policewoman apparently has some level of boundaries or self-respect. Not much. But hey, it’s better than nothing considering she’s sleeping with Christopher. Clearly, her taste is a little suspect.

Oh, and last but most certainly not least, Giovanna has been playing everyone – including me. Or the audience. But me specifically since I thought she really didn’t suspect Maya. However, now…

Apparently, she has had suspicions for a while considering the state of the room, she was in at the end of the episode. While I’m definitely going to need to ask my girlfriend to translate some of the papers on the wall, it definitely appears to me that Giovanna has it all figured out.

Including whatever the investigator thought she found and brought to the police chief.

It’s the same name.

Giovanna has already worked it all out.

She knows Nicole is involved. That Maya is behind everything with her friend, Ana Clara. That Christopher is the target and it has something to do with the other company.

I wonder if Maya knew that person. If she’s his daughter or something of that nature. Maybe that’s why she wants revenge so badly. Maybe Christopher stole his company.

After all, it looked like they were business partners based on the photo of the handshake.

I don’t know.

Regardless, Giovanna knows the chief is corrupt. I wonder if she suspects the other investgator since she’s on the board as well. Or maybe she knows she’s sleeping with Christopher?

I don’t know.

How did Giovanna put this all together? When did she put it all together?

Has she been sitting on this for a while? How long? While she and Maya were together? Was she holding off on it because of her feelings for Maya?

Is what I said before going to come to pass. Since she’s been burned by Maya, is she going to burn Maya back and stop her? Arrest her?

Clearly, I was right about her not trusting anyone anymore.

Not that I can blame her. Like I said about Larissa before being fed up with everyone because she knows they’re lying to her – I think Giovanna is in a similar boat. Everyone is lying and she can’t trust anyone.

Although, I don’t believe she believes that about Larissa.

I think she’s trying to keep her friend out of the firing line, considering how bad this might all get. Because if the ending was any indication, there’s still a lot more to come.

Not only does Giovanna know what’s happening in the background with Maya now. But Maya still has something else planned to end all of this. Which makes me wonder who is going to win this game of chess?

Especially, since Maya does not know she’s playing against Giovanna right now.

Maya was right about that. The pawn who moves quietly across the board becomes the queen. Except, here’s the problem Maya – you thought you were helping her to the other side. Guiding her. Clearing the way. Keeping her safe. Except she’s been playing you this whole time. Pretending to be a pawn, but is actually a queen in disguise.

Okay, the chess thing breaks down a bit there, but you get the point.

Maybe Giovanna has known longer than any of us.

I truly hope they explain it and how she made this connection and figured out the puzzle. I think I’m more excited to know how Giovanna unraveled the mystery than to see what Maya has planned next.

She’s still on my shit list after last week’s little fiasco.

I’m still baffled by that choice.

I’m also baffled by the investigator. Like sleeping with Christopher, maybe into Giovanna. Allowing herself to be tugged her and there by these men as she tries to discern information from them. What’s her game?

Oh dear, I’m starting to think everyone here has a game to play.

Except like Larissa and Clarisse’s cousin. Even Giovanna. Like they just stumbled into this crap.

They didn’t ask to be in this game. They were just working and minding their own business and ended up in a real live chess match while blindfolded. Lovely.

It truly feels like the investigator has some sort of hidden agenda.

I’m not sure what.

I’m not sure of anything anymore.

I for sure thought Giovanna didn’t suspect Maya and now I’m all thrown here.

She more than suspects her, she knows she’s behind everything. Yikes.

None of this can end well. It just cannot end well at this point, and I am genuinely curious to see how all of this is going to unfold. We’ve got to be past a point of no return by now.

Like Maya detonated a bomb in her relationship with Giovanna. Now it appears Giovanna has one to detonate as well. There can’t be any coming back from that, right?

I mean, at one point, I do believe there was a point where Giovanna’s feelings for Maya would outweigh her interest in her job. That she would be willing to cover it up or pretend it was someone else for Maya. If she really believed in the idea.

Now?

Now, I think she’d like to throw Maya in prison and throw away the key.

Not sure, how or if Maya could win her favor back.

Guess we’ll see. Hopefully. Only one more episode to go. Yikes!
