I must admit that the classic logo is one of my favorites, but this time I used acrylic paint.
Honestly, for whatever reason, I love drawing this logo. I figured it out years ago how to get it just right and now whenever I try new mediums, this is always the first thing I want to draw.
But you know what? I’ve never tried to draw the other versions of his logo and I’m interested in expanding my art skills.
However, in the meantime, I needed art for my new office, so I whipped this up.
A mash of his colors with his logo across it. I’ve never tried something like this before and it was a bit challenging to keep the colors from mixing while I was slapping them on. Because well, they make whole new colors that have nothing to do with Superman if they mixed too far and well, it wouldn’t look right.
Either way, it was worth all the effort for the outcome, but I can definitely say I’ve learned something for the next time!
