Day Five
I hope you’re not home alone watching this movie, but if you are, you and Kevin can keep each other company.
For some reason, this is a movie I love more as I get older.
Mostly, because I have no idea how you’d manage to leave a whole person behind. As a kid, I thought, maybe it could happen. I’m not an adult what do I know about being a parent and traveling to another country with kids during the holidays?
Now, I’d forget my charger, sure. But a whole kid?
Not a chance.
That’s just wild to me.
I can’t go five minutes without checking on my cat, never mind worrying about a whole human being in my care. So yes, I find this movie more and more absurd as the years pass by. Maybe I’ll feel differently if I were to have a kid of my of own.
But, honestly, even when I’m at work, I watch the kids whose parents are too preoccupied to do it themselves. And it always scares me how calm they are or how they didn’t even notice.
Please, during this holiday season, keep an eye on your kids. Please and thank you!
Thanks for reading! Spread the love and read on!
