Maya drugged Christopher?

In front of a police officer?

Like is that okay? Can you get arrested for that? Even though she said she was trying to help him sleep? I mean, that’s not why she did that.

She did that so she could sleep with Giovanna.

Out in the open.

On the pool table.

Like what?

She’s so damn bold.

I mean who sleeps with their other person while their spouse is sleeping in the same house. What if he did wake up? What if he did catch them? How on Earth is she going to explain that one away?

Because I don’t believe at all that he really caught them.

No, Maya is too careful.

It’s probably just a nightmare. Don’t know whose nightmare it is, but definitely a nightmare. Otherwise, the plot would be over far too soon.

Seriously though she’s crazy. Absolutely crazy.

Even more crazy to put something in his drink with Giovanna watching.

She’s the police for crying out loud. I’m pretty sure she could start building a case against you somehow here.

That’s a lot of confidence in your f*ck buddy.

Damn.

Also, I love that Giovanna seems to think she has a leg to stand on around here. She fights against the stuff in the drink, tries to leave, wants her to stop flirting out in the open, and hides from her when she comes to the room.

Which I liked the most.

The rest felt futile against Maya’s planning.

She had the whole night worked out.

Except for the hide and seek part.

I did enjoy that Giovanna did finally figure out how to better play the game. Instead of outright refusal or toying with her emotions by making her jealous, she opted to tease and annoy her. Just as Maya does to her, which was fun to watch.

Because for a moment, I truly thought Giovanna left.

Which would have pushed it too far causing Maya to overreact like when she had Clarisse fired.

Instead, she toyed with her for a few moments. Watching the frustration build as a pleasurable night seemed beyond reach.

Except she was still there.

And they enjoyed a night together on the pool table.

What is it with Maya and that pool room? Are we going to get an explanation about that or do we just accept it?

Other things going on in the world here right now, Giovanna feels slighted that Clarisse might be dirty, but isn’t sure. Instead, she returns to focusing on the case.

Also, I’m confused, did she really care? I thought she was using her for info and to annoy Maya. I didn’t think Giovanna gave a damn.

Surprise, surprise there.

Christopher is incredibly disrespectful to his wife.

He wanted to leave the moment they arrived at her event where she was working because he had enough. Like dude? What the hell?

Although, I shouldn’t be surprised their marriage is not normal nor is it full of love or anything else given that Maya appears to be working against him. Or is for sure cheating on him.

For someone who wants to focus on work Giovanna focuses on a lot of other things.

Who is Maya’s friend talking to all this time? What are they planning? I don’t know.

I also love that the excuse to keep Giovanna around more is that Maya needs protection but also randomly disappears throughout the day leaving her unprotected. Only when it’s convenient for the plot is she the proper bodyguard which should annoy me, but it doesn’t.

This show makes no bones about what it is.

I love that for them and for me!
