What is this show?
I’m actually asking. I think it’s just an excuse for smut. Let’s be honest, everything happening is just an excuse for these two to hook up. With some minor interruptions of the plot.
Also, Giovanna I told you that flirting or going out with Clarisse to prove that Maya doesn’t have a hold on you was a bad idea.
Because it is.
Now Clarisse is fired and you’re making out with the person who got her fired..?
What?
I don’t typically kiss people when I’m mad at them, but hey to each is own. But like were you going to actually do anything for Clarisse or did you hope sticking your tongue in Maya’s mouth she might change her mind.
Because she doesn’t seem like the change her mind type.
Just so you know.
She seems like she’ll destroy the world to get what she wants. She managed to convince her husband to get rid of a perfectly good secretary because his wife was jealous. Not of him, mind you.
Of her secret crush hook up person spending time with her.
Though Christopher foolishly believes it was him.
He’s oblivious.
How can you be this oblivious?
I mean, his wife isn’t even subtle. She touched Giovanna in an elevator behind him! Kissed Giovanna in front of their maid. Her best friend appears to know everything but could be doing some underhanded shit.
I don’t know, it’s not clear.
Either way, I feel like he ought to know.
Either that, or he’s a dumbass.
Probably the latter.
But there was someone getting fired.
Lots of making out.
I’m serious, Giovanna kissed all the people in this episode. Some back to back.
Clarisse and Maya.
Maya was not happy that Giovanna was kissing someone else.
But I’m not sure she has a leg to stand on. Seriously. She’s married.
How can you expect loyalty when you’re not offering the same thing? I don’t understand.
Give respect, get respect sort of thing. But you’re not bringing it to the party don’t expect Giovanna to.
Although, I do think that Giovanna was ill prepared for the temper tantrum Maya was going to throw over her kissing someone else. She thought she had an upper hand.
She did not.
I’m not even sure she realizes what game they’re playing.
It’s like Maya is playing chess and Giovanna thinks they’re playing checkers.
So all the making out. Pining.
People got fired.
Then Giovanna attempted to protect Maya for a while but left abruptly.
If you’re supposed to be there while she’s working, shouldn’t you be there?
This is why someone else should have been on bodyguard duty. I’m just saying.
Giovanna takes off because they have a lead on their thinly veiled plot, vaguely holding together the smut, and she takes off without saying goodbye. Something the friend tries to advise against.
Which I’m inclined to agree, she didn’t take it well when you ghosted her before.
Giovanna heads to a cafe to find the person hacking into Enterprise and finds Clarisse. OOOO…
I’m not surprised.
I don’t think she’s involved but it was a fun diversion either way.
Honestly, while I’ve been pretty hard on this episode because for the first time it felt like just an excuse to watch two hot women making out more than the other episodes have. Because let’s be honest, that’s what this series is basically doing. Vague plot, lots of kissing.
Just because I say that doesn’t mean I’m not having a good time.
I’m just pointing out, this episode did not disguise the smut as some of the others have. It’s a bit more dressed up than this.
Making this episode feel somewhat out of place.
I enjoyed it still. Because I do enjoy that these two morons can’t keep it in their pants to accomplish anything.
Very amusing.
Overall, not a bad episode, but not the best they’ve put forth either. Onto the next!
