Stupid Wife: College Special – Episode 4

I’m confused.

Just a little by that opening.

If you’re not dating Dani or anything serious, why did she call you Amor? That feels like a pet name for someone you’re dating.

Although, on the other hand, I don’t care.

We’re barely a minute into the episode and they’ve decided to become a couple.

Heck yeah!

However, I did love super pouty Valentina at the beginning. I loved how much she did not want to hear about Luiza hooking up with someone else.

Which apparently does not mean the same thing in Brazil… Hooking up to me, means that you’ve had sex.

Ultimately, we discover for them it means making out. Which okay. Fine. I just had to resent my head canons.

Especially about Valentina.

Did anyone else think she definitely had sex before Luiza? Was that just me?

I totally believed that Luiza never had before Valentina. Everything she’s ever said indicates she was a virgin before Valentina. I was not expecting Valentina to be one too.

Not that, there’s anything wrong with that – of course. It’s just not what I had imagined.

So after we’re treated to them working out where they stand with each other. We have the opening, which I don’t think I mentioned I adore.

It captures them and their current dynamic at this age so well.

Especially Valentina’s little sigh of affection at the end, when you can tell she’s so gone for Luiza.

Love it.

Then they’re chatting about school only for Valentina to reveal that she’s not happy.

And we’re treated to the moment that changed Valentina’s entire life.

As mentioned in season one, Luiza is the reason Valentina had the courage to follow her dreams, and become a photographer. I loved this moment.

Luiza listened to her fears and made a good point.

Catarina isn’t living Valentina’s life. Valentina is.

She’s never been happy during their time in school, but she lights up with her camera. She should follow her heart and do what makes her happy.

I loved that Valentina even pointed out, she wanted to enjoy life. Not just work. I think in the future, they both have achieved a nice work-life balance for themselves.

A very important task.

Then we’re in warp speed. I think school is coming to an end. Valentina dropped out. But she’s there to see Luiza complete her final project. I think that’s how it works out.

Did anyone else catch Valentina playing with Luiza’s hair in class?

So cute.

I loved everything in this scene.

Even that Valentina still gets on Luiza’s nerves but in a different way now.

The teacher declaring that they’ll get married. I hope he was invited to the wedding for calling it all those years ago.

Valentina’s self-confidence when she agrees.

The little note that I needed Google Translate to help me with.

Also very cute. But what is it with these two and bathrooms? Is there a bathroom scene every season? I feel like there might be.

Just saying.

Of course, I loved how Luiza melted when she read the note.

Then they exited class, all playfully, smiling, and enjoying each other’s company only to nearly be caught by Duda waiting for her friend.

Though Luiza denies it. Claiming Valentina merely came there to bother her, as always.

Then her friend invites her on a trip, but she can’t go.

Somehow, I think the private lesson involves Valentina. Though Duda offers for her to come with her so she can be free of Valentina’s bothers.

Ha! I think she’s started enjoying them.

Then Valentina kidnaps her into the bathroom to make-out, because Valentina can’t look at her, and not want to kiss her.

I’m not sure how Luiza held out. Ever.

I would have crumpled under Valentina’s first intense stare. Whew.

They manage to separate themselves, but Valentina is sucking on an orange in the oddest manner possible. I have never seen anyone eat them like that before, but hey, I get why we have it like this right now.

I also don’t blame Valentina for using that to her advantage for the rest of their lives.

I would too.

Then foolishly, Luiza asks for a kiss. In the middle of the parking lot. While they’re trying not to let people know.

Which goes how you expect. They’re caught.

By Duda and Igor.

Only for them to play a joke on Igor. Who is so offended it’s sweet how much he wants to be there for his sister since he supported her endeavor to ensnare Luiza’s affections.

Then there’s Valentina.

Who wants more than anything to marry Luiza. Even now.

The entire scene is cute.

I love Duda who is so excited for them. Demanding every detail. I loved the look Luiza gives Valentina.

These two are definitely the epitome of A fell first, but B fell harder.

Like A is so used to having this feeling there, it’s like an ache that never goes away. Meanwhile, B doesn’t love A more, that’s not what we’re saying. They just had the rush of feeling all at once. They fell all at once.

And you can clearly see how it changed Luiza’s interactions with her love as she leans into that feeling.

Then they’re camping..?

It was a weird thing to shift to for them to be together, but I suppose it makes since if they both still live at home. It’s a way to be together alone, for their first time together.

I loved that scene so much.

Reis and Buiar strip all the confidence they normally have with each other away, making the moment vulnerable, and sweet. Two people coming together for the first time. For the first time as individuals as well.

It’s so good. So sweet. So wholesome, despite the non whole nature of the scene.

You can see the uncertainty in the actions, how it overwhelms them with emotions.

These two are amazing together!

Then the little scene outside. My first thought – I think that’s the most clothes I’ve seen them wear on screen.

I couldn’t help it!

But by far, my favorite is the scene in the treehouse.

Seeing their first time together at the treehouse was unexpected treat. I loved that they choose there to share things deeply important to them. I love that Luiza actively choose to teach Valentina her favorite dance.

It lends so much more depth to the moment in the 1×06 when Valentina asks her wife to dance.

It’s their dance. Luiza’s favorite dance. A very sensual, romantic dance she actively choose to do with her girlfriend turned wife. I love it.

I love how serious Valentina turned when she told Luiza she loved her.

Everything was sweet and perfect about that moment.

So naturally, this show has to give you whiplash, and give you a moment from season three.

A very painful moment as Valentina confronts her mother over trying to take Leo from her.

The entire scene made me even more excited for season three and terrified at the same time. Because, season three, looks like it might hurt. A lot.
