Did I just? Was that?
Did I just see who I think I saw?
Did he say… Snips?
Was that right?!
Ugh!
So many amazing things happened in this episode!
Ahsoka and Baylan fought. Ahsoka totally crushed that other dude! Whatever his name was.
I loved her confident stance while he was over there spinning his lightsaber like that was going to win the fight. Then she had one swing and it was over.
I loved that! Such confidence.
Sigh.
Then there was Sabine. Who went all, I got this.
“You’re going to regret that.” Ha!
I loved how Sabine combined her lightsaber training with her Mandalorian fighting. It was an awesome combo, that I hope they utelize more in the future.
Then Ahsoka went head to head with Baylan.
“Anakin spoke highly of you.”
“He never mentioned you.”
That entire exchange at the beginning and during the fight was well done as far as I’m concerned.
Clearly, Ahsoka has issues with Anakin.
Despite bringing him up once herself. She doesn’t talk about him much. She also brushes it off and doesn’t want to talk about her ‘past.’ Baylan presses on her issues. Her legacy.
Something she has a complicated history with.
She knows what Anakin became. So does Baylan.
She knows she’s fighting against what Anakin created. She’s fighting his legacy of death and destruction. She fears, she is too much like him.
So much needs to be resolved there.
And look who appeared?
I’m not entirely certain that it is Anakin. Or that she’s really in the world between worlds. I have no idea what happened to her there.
I also don’t know how she’s going to get to Sabine.
And I’m dying to see what happens next!
As for Sabine.
I get it.
She feels lost and alone.
She thought she found a purpose training with Ahsoka, but what good is it if Ahsoka is dead?
She took a step forward, even if it was the wrong one. Who hasn’t chosen the wrong step, just to take a step forward?
I can’t wait to see how this turns out for her.
I imagine not well.
I loved Jacen too after they almost died when they made the jump.
This episode was so good.
And I honestly thought this series was almost at an end, because this felt very climatic. But then I discovered there are still four more episodes.
What’s going to happen in the next four episodes?
My goodness.
What’s going to happen? What does this suspicious Anakin up to? How will they get to Erza? How will Ahsoka get to Sabine?
Is Huyang going to get to say I told you so to them.
They didn’t stay together.
And he’s right, they’re better together.
