This show is ridiculous!

I love everything about it’s ridiculousness!

The whole meeting in the supply closet so was so cute and hilarious! It reminded me of the scene in the early Supergirl episodes when they hide from Cat Grant.

Lois is absolutely perfect in her quest to find the flying man.

The scene of Clark digging up the ship that got bigger made me laugh so hard. Especially with Jonathan over there commenting that it was the most normal thing in the world.

Personally, I hope we don’t open with a flashback every episode.

However, I did enjoy Clark being a little freaked to find out his past and who the strange man yelling at him in another language is.

Which is a detail I enjoy.

Most versions employ English because Jor-El knows it’ll be the language he knows. But I appreciated the different take all the same.

I also loved Martha’s trepidation when it came to her son finding out more about his past.

At the end of the day, she wants him to be her little boy.

I can’t blame her for wondering what these people might want with him. What plans they may have had in mind when they shipped him across the stars.

Also… did the ship get bigger?

If so? Why?

We’ve never had a growing ship before.

And the She-Ra vibes got even worse this episode with Superman’s transformation into his costume. I was dying.

I also hope that’s not a ‘thing’ going forward because it’s cool that it came from the ship, but I don’t want it to be some magical outfit. We’re straying too far then.

I did love his mom adding the underwear and his father’s speechlessness.

Clark’s awkwardness as he saw Jimmy and Lois.

Lois and Jimmy ending up in peril.

I noticed someone online said that was Livewire. That was Livewire? And Deathstroke?

I’m finding it a bit difficult to be afraid of Deathstroke when he looks like he might break out into song and dance with a boy band at any moment.

Or head off to model some underwear.

He’s supposed to be vicious mercenary and he looks like a bad guy from Legend of Korra that would run away at the first sign of danger. Not someone who could actually stand against anyone.

Totally not who I thought either of them were.

But at least I found Livewire somewhat threatening if not a bit gullible.

Not sure what Deathstroke is up to there at the end, but knowing him – nothing good.

As for the other characters I loved that Lois was worried about Clark while he was ‘sick.’ They’re already so smitten with each other.

She even called him beautiful.

And Jimmy couldn’t you help us out a bit here? You know they both have feelings for each other. You couldn’t have waited to burst in for another five minutes?

Yeesh!

One last thing I want to mention, how long is Clark going to be able to keep this secret from both of them?

I feel like sooner or later Lois will figure it out or he’ll have to cave and tell her the truth?

Sidenote! Thanks to everyone for writing in to give me the name of the voice actor of Clark! He’s not Bolin, but I’ll keep guessing because there is no fun in looking it up!
