For 85 years Superman has been soaring through the skies of Metropolis, stopping baddies like Lex Luthor, saving kittens from trees, catching Lois Lane when she inevitably falls, and bumbling through the Daily Planet as Clark Kent.
In 1938, the world had no idea that comic history would change forever.
Action Comics introduced the Man of Steel and today his symbol is one of the most recognizable in the entire world. Second only to the cross.
Superman has a long and rich history in comics, radio, film, and TV.
He endured countless decades, wars, and other superheroes trying to take his place in history.
But, he endures, just like what he stands for – Hope.
Hope, for a better tomorrow.
Superman stands for everything good about humanity.
He’s a good person, with a kind heart. For that, he has withstood the test of time.
