Pride Couple – Supercorp

Remember how Person of Interest’s writers saw chemistry and went with it?

Yeah, this show should have been taking notes.

To be completely honest, I never completed watching the series, so I don’t know how things ended exactly. Other than, these two were not a couple.

Um… Why?

Chemistry was there. It would have fit with the comics in terms of Kara’s sexuality. It would have been interesting.

Not to mention, it’s not like shows never pair up different characters than the comics have.

See Arrow. See Smallville.

It happens.

Anyway, these two had so much chemistry, it exploded all over AO3.

Which is where most of my references for this show come from.

Honestly, I could have gotten behind these two. Their relationship would have been a great source of drama and something to center the show. Not to mention, give Kara what she wanted.

It was incredibly stupid that the series ended worse than it started. Kara achieved nothing she wanted for herself in the first season.

Especially, someone who was her perfect partner at a game night.

A scene complimented by one of Lena declaring she’ll always be Kara’s partner when they sat down to play games in an episode.

They can claim not to have queerbaited all they like, but what the else was that scene trying to convey?

Not to mention, I saw several scenes right next to Alex and Kelly’s (a couple) the same way episodes ended in season two. With Mon-el and Kara appearing alongside Maggie and Alex.

I think there was so much here that was never brought into the light for who knows what reason.

Either way, check out their fics on AO3. They’re way better than the show anyway.
