Yes, another web series.

Do you know how I found this web series? I followed Dominque from Wynonna Earp and saw her filming the movie, so I thought I’d check it out.

My goodness, I had no idea what rabbit hole I was about to fall down.

Even my kitty loved this series. It’s like a comfort blanket for her.

I binged everything, I bought the series online, I bought the movie, and waited in breathless anticipation for it to arrive in October. Then when it dropped at midnight, I stayed up late to watch it, despite needing to be at work at six in the morning.

The chemistry between these actresses was wonderful.

And a common thing I seem to notice between all the actresses who have excellent chemistry together, all mention in different interviews how comfortable they are together.

Interesting.

This series centers on Laura Hollis investigating the disappearance of her first roommate, only to get stuck with another roommate – Carmilla – and discover a whole unexpected slew of adventures.

They were roommates. Yes!

There are vampires, anti-heroes, naive girls, and a whole lot of chaos.

Laura and Carmilla slowly find themselves falling for each other, despite knowing it’s a bad idea.

But hey, can’t control your feelings, can you?

If you wanted gay vampires, this is the place for you.

Everyone on the show is queer or part of the LGBTQ community. It loves it’s little jokes and is endlessly silly.

The fandom are creampuffs and it’s nicknamed the little web series that could.

Laura and Carmilla are so different, their relationship shouldn’t work, but it does. They are so cute together and filled with miscommunications.

It also has one of the few complete break-ups I completely agree with.

I have never been so surprised to be behind a break-up of a couple I adore, but it worked so well. And it was so needed for the characters to grow and understand each other better.

It was needed and important.

Not to mention their journey back to each other, is rife with drama, complications, and confusion. It’s better than the first build-up, because this time, they know what they’re in for.
