Is it wrong I don’t know what to say about this couple anymore?

After getting into Sanvers, I scoured all the lesbian media I could find, and this one kept popping up on Netflix and in GIFS on Tumblr. So I thought, why not?

Ummm….

At the time, I adored this show.

It was probably somewhere back in 2016-2017 if I remember correctly.

I went in for the Bo and Lauren ship and rooted hard for it, but er – they didn’t make it easy. Not then, and not now!

Then, I actually liked the relationship with Dyson and Bo. I felt for them when things didn’t work out and when he lost his feelings. The whole thing.

Plus, I kind of hated Lauren for the betrayal and so on.

However, I adored Kensi and Bo. They had such an amazing friendship.

This show also did what most superbeing type shows do – devolve into the convoluted.

Events got crazier and crazier and crazier.

Which was not unenjoyable or not fun to watch. But there were some moments, when watching it, I was like Bo and Lauren should not be together.

Not to mention, they did that thing that I hate where the couple is together several times throughout the series and can’t make it work but at the end we’re supposed to believe they walked off into the sunset together. Usually, I think they broke up again five minutes after the credits rolled.

But that’s just me.

I did love this show though, no matter how much of a hard time I give it.

It was ridiculous and crazy, but it was my kind of ridiculous and crazy.

It never took itself too seriously which was good.

Bo and Lauren though? They were toxic AF.

Deep down, I believe they love each other. I don’t doubt that, at all.

Do I think they have communication issues? Yes.

Trust issues? Yes.

Do I think they work through those at all throughout the series? No.

Do I think they need a therapist? Yes.

Or to just couple up with Dyson and call it a lifetime. Yeesh.

Overall, I liked them as a couple more then, than I do now.

Now, I’ve matured and know what I want and what isn’t good for me. Enough to know that I’m happy I watched Lost Girl and loved Bo and Lauren together. They’ll always hold a special place for me. I’d even recommend the show!

And if anyone can tell me where I can purchase the American DVD or Blu-ray version, I will add it to my collection!

However, they are not a healthy couple, and I will not pretend they are.

Be entertained by them, but don’t model after them!
