Do we believe ‘Keith’s’ story? Do we believe there’s another hole in the ice? Do we?

Because I’m not at all sure.

Not even a little.

It all felt very… convenient.

If the truth ends up being that Keith is not actually Keith, then I will feel so bad for Sydney. To think your brother didn’t die and is right there. That you had nothing to do with his death and feel that relief. Only to discover he did die.

Ouch.

That’ll hurt.

If on the other hand it is Keith.

Ouch.

It’s gotta hurt that your sister didn’t trust you. That your dad dragged you into the bathroom threatening you and your mom didn’t hug you back.

Again, I’m not sure it is Keith.

But if it’s not, what game is being played here?

I understand nothing really. I also don’t understand why they would take Keith for all those years. Did they want him for something?

Is this like that Hawaii 5-0 episode where a guy kids every so often to get money from the state? Did they want to hurt Jay or Nikki?

Like I have so many questions left that this show has not answered over the season and we’re down to the wire. We’ve got a two-hour finale left and I’m wondering – can they wrap everything up?

Will they wrap everything up? Like am I going to be left hanging on a show I have no idea whether or not will be picked up for season two?

Yeesh.

So many things to think about.

As for everything else that happened in the episode, POOR MIKE.

This guy cannot catch a break. From the pilot, every time something goes his way, something doesn’t go his way. To find out that a man you trusted, that you looked at like a father, framed your actual dad, and shattered your relationship with him.

Ouch.

I kept hoping that his father was still alive or around so he could make amends.

The scene with them at the apartment was so beautiful. Mike was just a scared little boy asking his dad to forgive him for making a mistake. But Mike’s father proved to be a good man. He just wanted his son to see that.

Everything else? Didn’t matter.

They had now.

And he’s come back in time to see his son get married. So yay.

Jay and Nikki’s relationship continues to be awesome for me.

I love that when it comes to their kids, they are the people they lean on. She could lean on Mike and there’s nothing wrong with that. But no one will understand the grief or pain like the other parent.

I think the scene where she found him sitting there was nice.

The fact that they’re friends and everyone coexists – maybe not always peacefully – is wonderful. They’re messy people trying to do the right thing by each other and their kids. It’s quite refreshing.

As a police drama, eh. I think they play fast and loose with the rules and set a bad example. Most police dramas do.

Welp, I’ll be here till the end of the season, and I’ll see if any of my questions are – you know – actually answered.
